Natural, dewey makeup that is CLEAN

Let me start by saying that it is freaking hard to find clean makeup that performs like traditional makeup! I have done so much trial and error trying to find the products that my skin & my camera love. Just being honest, it can feel great on my skin, but if I don’t love the way it looks, I am not wearing it in public.

I have always struggled with my skin, thank you hormones & digestive issues. I am on a forever journey to maintain clear skin but that is a whole other post on it’s own. Anyways, because my skin isn’t flawless, I like to wear makeup when I leave the house.

Here are some mandatory boxes that need to be checked after I put on my makeup. My skin needs to feel like it can breathe. I love a dewey, hydrated look + soft, neutral tones so I have that “I get facials frequently” appearance. Finally, my skin needs to look bronzed with a little shimmer.

Your skin is your largest organ and this is one of many reasons why I put so much time into researching the products I put on it. We are told from such a young age that in order to be a lady, you wear makeup. It’s just what girls do. I truly love a fun, feminine look, but I am not about to let my health be set aside just to play dress up.
